This is honestly just what i needed i think, i think i understood everything said when it comes to the literal instructions, its just i get stuck on finding references since i can't draw, and all tuts i see have a well designed reference theyre using to base the model. This workflow is the kind of "hey its okay to do it your way" and thats hella helpful

When I change the skeletal mesh to my mesh, the pivot of the mesh is not at the bottom of the feet, but on the middle of the calf. So when I played it, the character clipped into the ground. The pivot is already at the bottom of the feet on Blender. Do you have any idea what could probably be wrong?

Also guys for the loop tools you have to go to edit and clicl preferences go to get extensions and search "LoopTools" then click install and if its not equipped go to add ons and equip it there

I wanted my hair to be asymmetrical like the first example you showed but from the cut at 1:41-1:51 the mirror modifier just disappears yet the mirrored side of the hair still remains.. When I delete my mirror modifier the mirrored side disappears? I'm not sure what to do there.. even so great tutorial still

so for some reason I have different options on my screen, the add on gives me the options ("tweak", "apply rig", "switch parent armature" and "copy additional bones to root") I lack the more specific options like "joint tweak", "fingers" and "body parts", does anyone know why this might be?

Nice, great explanation :) I've only created some very basic rigged chars so far. I have a problem though.... With heads, where the eyes are set into the head, if I zoom out - the eye lids disappear which doesn't look good. How can I fix this?

This is why i can never learn blender im so frustrated. for one when i upload the refence image its not flat. it shows up on an angle but the cube comes in flat or normal. so it messes up everything. SO BNASICALLY CANNOT EVEN START. UGH. ya this isnt for beginners. you skiptoo many basic steps and now im totally lost. i dont blame you but im jsut irritated
